Koren Jones uses chance, subconscious imagery and automatic drawing to explore spiritual and psychological themes. Her artwork is inspired by Buddhist texts and written mystic works, as well as her own dreams, contemplative practice and personal experiences.

Jones works in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture and photography. She uses layered mark making and transparency to create subtle, complex surfaces in her collaged works on paper, paintings and ceramics. In her meditative Daily Views photo series, Jones takes images that she notices during mundane daily activites, like driving the kids to school and sports, walking the dogs, and running errands.
